Vault 08 is an innovative investment which, for the first time ever, provides Australian retail investors with selected exposure to five proprietary investment strategies of UBS AG Group, one of the world’s leading investment banks.
A feature of Vault 08 is that it combines a multi strategy investment exposure with daily pricing. UBS AG Group provides the pricing of the five multiple strategies as a composite index, which is adjusted and published daily and referred to as the LTA Series.
Quattro has designed Vault 08 to offer investors an attractive investment model comprising the following features:
- the Investment Amount is 100% capital protected, subject to the terms in Appendix A of the PDS;
- an investor may borrow 100% of the Investment Amount, subject to the terms in Appendix B of the PDS;
- investment exposure to five of UBS AG Group’s proprietary investment strategies, which for the first time ever are being made available to Australian retail investors;
- dynamic management of these investment strategies by UBS AG Group’s global research team, which aims to optimise the overall performance of the LTA Series in volatile markets;
- a five year investment term. Vault 08’s investment term is approximately 5 years. Some similar types of investment have longer investment terms of up to 8 years; and
- a tax effective investment model, particularly for those investors who utilise the investor loan.
The LTA Series.
The performance of the LTA Series, which comprises the five underlying investment strategies will be published here daily as from 1 July 2007 in AUD version, which is the version Vault 08 is exposed to.
In the interim, the pricing below is the LTA Series USD version, which provides an indication only of the LTA Series AUD performance.
